What is restoration?
- It’s a state of recovery of all the time one has lost in Life Joel 2:25
- Its a state of recovering all the things one has lost. Time is not the same with things but it’s time that brings things 1 Samuel 30:18-19
The kingdom of God is a kingdom of restoration John 10:10. Healing is actually restoration Acts 3:21 — Jesus Christ is not going to come until your life is perfectly in shape
Why we need Restoration?
- Job 42:10 Luke 15:11-13 — a lot of people have wasted time and the grace granted to them. Sometimes we collect the things that are for the future – Nothing cuts a destiny short than that.
- Some of us like David had loss guard and allow the enemy to carry away the things God gave to us. In this life, pain is a necessity. When you losegaurd your Time, health and finance, the enemy will collect it. If you don’t use your mind and Time, Satan will use it for you. If you don’t channel your emotion adequately, the enemy will help you cornered it. If you don’t use what you have, you will lose it.
Tools to make for Practical Restoration
- Repentance: Its not just about being born again, repentance is also turning away from what you should not be doing and turn to what you should be doing. You can repent from laziness, sleeping too much, eating too much etc. The celebration of our life is waiting for repentance. Its first the joy of salvation.
- Encourage ourselves in the Lord : 1 Samuel 30:6 — You should be your own encouragement primarily, all others should be an addition — Ecclesiastes 12:4
3a. Prayers — You can’t come to restoration without prayers . One of the worst thing in Life is to be confused. You must know
3b. Make intercessory requests for your friends and family you know they need Restoration. The people you gossip, you don’t pray for them. The moment Job for His friends, the Lord restored him. The beauty of maturity in the Spirit is to do something for people that are undeserving. For example, Stephen still pray for people stoning him.
3c. Demand for restoration of the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God runs on the principle of demands. Your healing has been paid for. In this kingdom, you must take it with force. There is nothing that God has not given to you ( is it deliverance? Even the Lawful captives, He has delivered. The principle of Faith is this – be it to you according to your faith.
There is a place for development
Demand for restoration by the blood of Jesus Zechariah 9:11-12 — You cast out demons through Jesus’s name but we overcome by the blood of Jesus.
Demons play around but principality don’t play around.
